Within the framework of the two-month period, employees of the Ministry of Ecology continue to clean and tidy cities and districts.

Meetings for the heads of executive committees and heads of rural settlements dedicated to the start of the two-month period were held in the Kama, Southeastern and Zavolzhsky administrations.  

The sanitary and ecological two-month period has been completed. For two months, municipalities, environmental protection services, relevant ministries and departments, enterprises and organizations, and concerned residents carried out work to restore sanitary and environmental order. In total, more than 780 thousand people took part in the events. More than 21 thousand units of equipment were involved in the cleaning of the territories. More than 400 thousand cubic meters of waste were removed to the landfills, more than 700 thousand trees and shrubs were planted.

The landfill of production and consumption waste was identified by the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry within the framework of a two-month sanitary and environmental survey in the territory of the village of Sokury in the Laishevsky district. The area of unauthorized waste disposal was 3.200 sq. m., the volume was 147 cubic meters.

Within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, the inspectors of the Priiksky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected the Aznakaevsky district. During the survey of the Ursaevo village territory unauthorized placement of solid household waste with a total area of 620 sq. m., and the volume of 120 cubic meters, was revealed.

2 km south of the village of Novoe Shugurovo, Leninogorsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration found unauthorized placement of construction waste. The landfill area was 1000 sq. m. Delivery notes were found among the garbage. According to environmentalists, presumably, the waste was brought from the town of Bugulma.

Within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, the inspectors of the Volzhsko-Kamsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected Chistopol district. During the survey of the territory of Chistopol, an unauthorized landfill with a total area of 100 square meters was identified; the volume was 10 cubic meters.

Three unauthorized dumps were identified by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry between the village of Stolbishchi and the village of Malye Kabany in the Laishevsky district. The survey of land plots was carried out within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period. The total area of all landfills was 254 sq. m. The volume was 42 cubic meters.

Earlier, inspectors of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized placement of industrial waste at the intersection of Raskolnikov Street and Narimanov Street in Naberezhnye Chelny. Garbage in the form of glass products littered the territory with an area of 652 sq. m.

Waste from construction and repair work littered the territory of Buinsk. The violation was discovered by the inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial department of the Ministry within the framework of the sanitary and environmental two-month period. The area of the cluttered plot amounted to 1250 sq. m., the volume – 120 cubic meters.
