The competition was organized by United Russia Tatarstan branch political party with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.  

The competition is aimed at popularizing modern ecological traditions both in Russia and in the countries of the near and far abroad. As part of the competition, participants share their environmental experience, which is aimed at developing a culture of environmental management. Public organizations, scientific and educational institutions, creative unions, enterprises, as well as independent initiative groups and public figures are invited to participate.

Anyone regardless of their place of residence, citizenship and age can become a participant The only condition is that the photographs must be taken on the territory of the Russian Federation. In order to participate one must register on the website photo.rgo.ru (or log into your personal account under an existing username), log in via SMS and upload photos to the site (maximum-25 works). Acceptance of works is carried out until April 5, 2021.

Tatarstan schoolchildren, teachers of additional education, teachers and amateur ornithologists are invited to take part in the Republican ornithological environment-geared project "Phoenix". The project, key theme of which is the birds of the native land and their protection, includes several nature protection tracks. The results will be summed up from April 16 to April 26, 2021. The details are in the Regulations.

Everybody from the age 5 to 22 can take part in it.  Drawings, crafts, etc. on the theme "No time to waste" are accepted as competitive works; there are no restrictions on artistic techniques and materials used.

Residents of the Republic of Tatarstan, their creative associations, as well as organizations and enterprises that have implemented projects in the field of geography and ecology, conservation and promotion of natural and historical and cultural heritage, are invited to participate in the competition for the national award "Crystal Compass". Applications are accepted until February 10, 2021.

Let us recall that the branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan with support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a competition “Diary of a Young Naturalist” among children aged 10 to 16 years, the works were accepted until November 15. Children sent their filled diaries with observations of nature to the jury.

Share the results of your work - send reports on the work done in the format of an information report, photo or video to rgo.project@mail.ru by November 24, 2020 with the subject line “I am an environmental volunteer!” The requirements for the report, as well as the application form for participants, can be found in the Competition Regulations. The prize fund of the Competition consists of four certificates for the OZON online store in denominations of 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 rubles.
