Since January 1, 2026, according to Resolution No. 975 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated November 20, 2025, the functions of the regional information and analytical center for accounting and control of radioactive substances and radioactive waste in the Republic of Tatarstan are performed by the State Budgetary Institution NPO Geocenter RT.

In order to ensure sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, reports on organization and on results of industrial environmental control can be submitted in the form of electronic documents to the heads of territorial administrations of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Until March 25, 2020, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities operating at category I, II, and III facilities must submit reports to authorized state bodies in accordance with the requirements of Art. 67 of the Federal Law No. 7-ФЗ of 10.01.2002 “On Environmental Protection”.

A campaign to receive information on the status and change of stocks of solid minerals (5-GR statistical reporting form) has been completed. More than half of 284 subsoil users of the republic, committed violations. 45 of the total did not provide reporting, 95 - deviated from the agreed production volume, 5 subsoil users conducted mining operations on agricultural lands, 8 - carried out production in the absence of an agreed mining development plan.
