330 violations of air protection legislation were stopped in the republic in 2020. This was announced today at the final board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan by Alexander Shadrikov. In general, about 4 million measurements were made in the republic. Monitoring of atmospheric air quality is also supplemented by a system of calculated monitoring. In the development of the work in 2020, a system of summary calculations for Yelabuga was created, and the existing databases for Kazan and Nizhnekamsk were updated.
The Republic of Tatarstan and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise RosRAO will establish cooperation in terms of creating conditions for the safe and efficient recycling of waste and elimination of accumulated environmental damage. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Acting General Director of FSUE RosRAO Viktor Kovalenko signed the corresponding agreement today within the framework of the final board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Implementation of the pilot project involves the creation of an electronic platform for concluding contracts for management of I-II classes waste, provision of services regardless of the type and amount of waste, loading of production facilities of bona fide operators for the management of I-II classes waste.
“The first module of the software package has been created and tested. It allows you to automate control over the deadlines for fulfilling licensing conditions”, said Minister of Ecology Aleksandr Shadrikov as part of the final collegium. Further development of the system will make it possible to track at each stage the legitimacy of the origin of raw materials, the cost of their sale, and thereby increase tax collection in this area.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will solve issues of environmental pollution in Nizhnekamsk together with leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Nizhnekamskneftekhim and TANECO have already expressed interest.
“We have begun work on creation of methods for modeling the movement of air masses to detect volley emissions that are not provided for by permitting documentation”, said Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov as part of the final collegium. He noted that thanks to the adoption of a unified sanitary protection zone for the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub, methods for assessing changes in atmospheric air quality at the planning stage of new production are of particular relevance. Summary calculations available for Kazan and Nizhnekamsk are also being developed for Elabuga.
To limit the allowable runoff of the Kuibyshev reservoir to 51 marks. Minister Aleksandr Shadrikov informed about the changes planned to be introduced into the draft Rules for the Use of Water Resources as part of an expanded meeting of the joint final board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that the current Rules were adopted back in 1983 and require changes. The issue will be dealt with jointly with Rosvodresursy within the framework of the created Interdepartmental Commission for preparation of proposals on operating regimes of the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs.
