Earth Hour is an international symbolic campaign during which ecologists call for turning off the light and household electrical appliances for 1 hour as a sign of concern for the future of the planet. The campaign starts at 8.30 p.m. and lasts until 9.30 p.m. Let us recall that last year, thanks to participation in the Earth Hour campaign, Tatarstan residents saved 57 mW of electricity, which is more than 300 thousand rubles.

The first stage of the campaign for collection of waste batteries was completed in the schools of the Leninigorskiy district. For two months, pupils collected used current sources in special packages provided by Durasel Russia. During the event, almost 750 kg of batteries were collected.
