The Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan made a working visit together with the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin. The heads of departments assessed the progress of work at the reclaimed landfill near the Prosti village and visited the renovated Krasnoklyuchinskiy dam.

Reconstruction of the enclosing dam on the left bank of the Kama river is fully funded. Thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, funds in the amount of 900.8 million rubles within the framework of the federal target program “Development of the water management complex of the Russian Federation in 2012-2020” have been allocated already this year.

To date, a slope is being formed, a drainage prism is filled, and a cap bar is installed. Let us recall that the reconstruction of the enclosing dam on the left bank of the Kama river was launched on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the expense of the republican budget. The implementation period is 2020-2021.

“In the late 70s - early 80s, we had a bitter experience, when the level of the Kama rose very high, we moved around the garden plots by boat,” recalls one of the owners of summer cottages near the Nizhnekamsk dam Gleb Gafurov. Soon, gardeners and residents of the settlements Probuzhdeniye, Ilyinka, Dmitrievka will forget about the negative impact of water due to the dilapidated dam. The long-awaited reconstruction of the bank protection structure is underway within the framework of the federal target program “Development of the water management complex of the Russian Federation”.

In 2020-2021 the dam on the left bank of the Kama river (Krasnoklyuchinskaya) is being reconstructed, and the coast in the Imenkovo village ​​will be strengthened. The facilities are being implemented as part of the Federal Target Program “Development of the Water Management Complex of the Russian Federation in 2012-2020”, preparatory work is already underway.

This year, the program provides for the overhaul of 19 hydraulic structures, 11 of which are transitional, 8 are new. The total cost of the work will amount to 89 million rubles.

Reconstruction of the enclosing dam on the left bank of the Kama river will start next year. The first stage of work will start under a two-year contract at the expense of the republican budget in the amount of 66.6 million rubles. At present, the emergency state of the shore protection structure is dangerous for the population. During the flood period, 3 settlements with about 500 people, 3 children's recreation camps, garden plots and more than 100 engineering infrastructure facilities fall into the zone of possible flooding.
