The ecological workshop “School of Young Ecologist” is held by the Kazan City Children's Ecological and Biological Center in the first decade of June as part of the Biosphere Students' Scientific Society. Pupils of grades 6-10 upon applications of educational institutions of Kazan, parents may become participants of the workshop. Applications are accepted until May 26, 2020.
The “City Children's Ecological and Biological Center” in Kazan together with the State Institution “Republican Olympiad Center” holds the VI Republican Ecological Festival-Competition for the stage performance of schoolchildren, dedicated to the International Theater Day and International Earth Day.

Phenological network of the Russian Geographical Society, together with the Russian Textbook Corporation, is launching a new competition in connection with the advent of winter. Young researchers and their leaders are invited to draw up an ecological route, study the snow cover, and also find traces left by animals in the snow. One of the prerequisites is to make a section of the snow cover, describe its thickness, photograph and, based on its type, make assumptions about the weather conditions that influenced its formation.
