A large landfill was discovered by ecologists during a raid in the area of the Salmachi settlement in Kazan. As it turned out, the area of illegal storage amounted to 1,275 square meters, the volume - more than 200 cubic meters. An administrative investigation has been instituted to identify the persons with the aim of promptly eliminating the violation and bringing the perpetrators to administrative responsibility.
The fact that the swamp is a natural reservoir and can appear in two ways was learned by pupils of secondary school No. 111 of Kazan at an environmental lesson conducted by specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The children were shown a film about wetlands, and they were also told in detail about the functions of the swamps.
Today, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the State Committee for Biological Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, drilled holes in Lake Nizhniy Kaban, Volga Region, Kazan in order to prevent fish killing. In total, more than 50 holes were drilled.
The environmental damage from the landfill in the Sovetskiy district of Kazan was estimated at almost 700 thousand rubles. Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded this violation during a raid last fall. In addition to a fine of 100 thousand rubles, the violator had to compensate for the damage caused to nature.
We identified the categories of human waste and possible solutions, found out what forms of waste are recycled. Employees of the Central Territorial Administration conducted environmental lessons on separate waste collection at Kindergarten No. 408 of Kazan. The pupils learned to see raw materials for processing in the waste and came to conclusion about the benefits of separate waste collection.
In order to create a responsible attitude towards the environment among schoolchildren, employees of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson on topic “I and the Environment. Rules of behavior in nature”. Pupils of the 2nd grade of “Tatar-English Gymnasium No. 16 were explained how everyday habits affect the well-being of the planet and all its inhabitants.
Students of the “Secondary comprehensive school with advanced study of individual subjects No. 62” in Kazan now learned a lot about what the landfill is, how to sort garbage, what environmental habits you need to develop in order to preserve nature. Pupils of the environmental class of Gymnasium No. 122 of Kazan shared their knowledge in the field of environmental protection. Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an eco-lesson on topic: “Environmental problems associated with pollution of soil and atmospheric air”.
Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration held a lesson for pupils of kindergarten No. 297 of Kazan. During the ecological lesson, children paid attention to the problem of soil littering, and also learned about the types of sorting of separate waste collection.
Environmental lesson on topic: “Separate garbage collection” was conducted for students of the Kazan Cadet School - Boarding named after B.K. Kuznetsov. At the lecture, activists of the “Will Be Clean” environmental youth movement and specialists from the Central Territorial Administration spoke about the importance of separate waste collection.
