During the monitoring within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period in the village of Shapkino, ecologists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan discovered an unauthorized landfill. The area of illegal waste storage was 700 sq.m.

The message of Kazan residents on social networks about the storage of fluorescent lamps in the village of Sultan-Ai was confirmed. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry carried out a visit. During the survey of the territory, unauthorized storage of waste (presumably in the form of mercury or neon lamps) was found near the house on Yasmin Street. The total area of the contaminated site was 30 sq.m., the volume was 1 cubic meter.

The residents of Kazan reported about the environmental violation in Kazan on social networks. Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a trip to the shore of the Lokomotiv beach. The fact of unauthorized storage of waste of side stones, paving stones and cobblestones was confirmed.

Today, the inspectors of the CTA of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have again set out following the complaints from residents of Kazan, who reported another fact of the presence of foam in the drainage ditch in the Privolzhsky district. Today, during the visit of the ecologists, foam forming was not detected.

Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the Rosprirodnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Administrative and Technical Inspection Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the Gorky Railway, today made a second inspection of the railway right-of-way within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period. The main goal is to control and prevent unauthorized storage of waste. The raid took place along the route: "Kazan – Vysokaya Gora – Vosstaniya – Sviyazhsk – Laishevo – Kazan"

Unauthorized waste storage was detected by inspectors of the Priiksky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the village of Popovka, Bavli district, within the framework of a sanitary and ecological two-month period. Household garbage and waste littered an area of 250 sq. m. The volume of the landfill was 150 cubic meters.

Inspectors prevented illegal land works on the territory of one of the Almetyevsk plants.

 

At the end of April, ecologists of the Priiksky TA received a complaint from residents of the village of Yekaterinovka. They reported that unknown persons were draining a liquid with a pronounced chemical odor, and also complained that industrial waste was being buried in their area.  Specialists of the Priiksky department together with a representative of the Chamber of Property and Land Relations of the Yutazinsky district examined a land plot near the village of Yekaterinovka. Environmentalists took samples.

At the end of April, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with specialists of the Ministry's laboratory, traveled to the Privolzhsky district of Kazan following a complaint from residents. 

Kazan residents sent a message to the Ministry's hotline about an unpleasant smell in the Aviastroitelny district. Specialists of the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology left on a mobile ecological laboratory to Akademik Pavlov str, 17  At night, from 23:00 to 00:00, environmentalists took samples of atmospheric air in automatic mode using special equipment installed on the PEL.
