As part of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, inspectors from the Zavolzhsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a survey of the territory of the Bolshefrolovsky rural settlement of the Buinsky district. As a result, environmentalists discovered unauthorized waste disposal in 3 locations.
Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky department conducted a two-month survey of the Drozhzhanovsky, Kaibitsky and Tetyushsky districts. As a result, several unauthorized landfills with a total area of 81 square meters were identified in the villages of Malaya Tsilna, Novoe Drozhzhanoe, Bolshye Kaibitsy, Kushmany and Tetusha towns.
During the inspection of the territory of the city of Chistopol, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department revealed unauthorized waste storage near the container site on Markin Street. The total area of the contaminated site was 100 sq. m., the volume of 1 cubic meter.
Environmentalists have issued a warning to the Executive Committee of the city of Chistopol about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation and the need to eliminate landfills within 60 days.
