Every year in October, dozens of countries around the world celebrate Animal Protection Day. This event has almost a century-old history. It is dedicated not only to endangered species of animals, but also to pets.
In 1931, at the International Congress of Conservationists, this day was officially recognized as World Animal Protection Day. Since then, it has become a global event that draws attention to the problems of preserving the biodiversity of our planet.
This is the day when we can:
- to remember the importance of caring for animals and their role in our lives,
- to act to make the world a better place for all who cannot stand up for themselves, - to unite with those who share our values, and together create positive changes.
And today it is also important to think about and realize your personal responsibility to our younger brothers. We share simple tips on how to help animals in their daily lives.
1. Visit a local animal shelter to help with care or take the animal home.
2. Support animal welfare organizations by donating money or participating in their projects.
3. Share this information with your friends and family so that more people will learn about the importance of animal welfare.
4. Use eco-tools for cleaning and caring for animals, reduce meat consumption, do not buy animals on the market.
5. Become a volunteer: participate in animal rescue campaigns.
6. Spend time with animals: walk or play with them, help arrange a photo shoot for animals looking for a home.
Let's create a future together where all living beings will live in safety and care!
