291 appeals were received by the Republican Public Reception Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan since the beginning of the year.

56 of them came through the School Eco-patrol mobile application.

   The First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Fayaz Shakirov and the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Gilyazov got acquainted with the results of work of seven territorial administrations. During the events, the leaders of territorial administrations made reports on the work done for the year, the efforts of which were aimed at solving priority problems in the field of environmental safety and the rational use of natural resources.

     To respect and instill a love for nature, be prepared to preserve and protect it - this was the topic of lessons held by specialists of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan at secondary school No. 25 and secondary school No. 55 in Naberezhnye Chelny. During the lessons, the pupils watched a filmstrip about ecology and played the game “Earth. Water. Air”, reflected on popular sayings, thereby consolidated their knowledge.

In order to form an ecological culture among the younger generation, responsibility for the consequences of human activities, and to foster a respect for nature, a republican contest of children’s associations of municipal regions of the republic “Earth Breath” is held annually.

Together with the Executive Committee of the Supreme Council of the Republican Public Movement “Tatarstan –New Century”, on the basis of the Institute of Ecological Problems of the Republic of Tatarstan, a training workshop on topic “Innovative Technologies for Developing Ecological Competence of Workers of Cultural and Leisure Institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan” was held. The event was attended by scientists from the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan (IPEN), specialists from the Kazan City Children's Ecological and Biological Center and Kazan Open University of Talents 2.0.

This is the first prize in the field of national geography, ecology, preservation and popularization of the natural, historical and cultural heritage of Russia. Applications are accepted until February 10, 2020. During a Sunday raid in Menzelinskiy district, an inspector of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of illegal shooting of a female elk at the age of 2 years. The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Menzelinskiy district initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Art. 258 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal hunting).

    Today, regular gatherings of citizens took place in the Kichkalninskiy and Staroalmetyevskiy settlements of the district, in which the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, took part. In the houses of culture, the Head of the environmental department spoke about the work being carried out in the republic, and dwelt separately on the ongoing national projects. During the events, the villagers were able to get answers to significant questions in the field of environmental protection and propose their initiatives.

     Today, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the State Committee for Biological Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, drilled holes in Lake Nizhniy Kaban, Volga Region, Kazan  in order to prevent fish killing. In total, more than 50 holes were drilled.

     The republican seminar “Development of innovative activities of the pre-school educational institution by means of environmental interaction in the system: pupils, parents - teachers and society” was held in the premises of the Teremok kindergarten. The event was attended by the leaders and teachers of preschool institutions, as well as representatives of Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Presentations of environmental projects were presented at the seminar, and the results of the online eco-quest Nature Connoisseurs of the Green Tatarstan project were summed up.

Employees of the Priikskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson in the premises of Gymnasium of Aznakayevo city. During the classes, pupils learned about interesting facts about the formation of swamps, flora and fauna, the importance of wetlands in people’s livelihoods. And also they got acquainted with the variety of plants and animals living in the swamps.
