More than 1 million 200 thousand Tatarstan citizens, which is 2/3 of the active population of the Republic took part in the actions on clearing the territories and planting trees within the framework of subbotniks  - informed the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev during the final board. 

Some of the powers in the field of environmental protection have been transferred to the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan. Now the issue of permits for discharges of polluting substances into water bodies will be carried out by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will allow to take part in state regulation of influence on water objects for natural resource users of regional level. 

Today the extended meeting of the Joint Final Board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of the Federal Service for environmental supervision in the Republic of Tatarstan "On results of work in 2017 and tasks for 2018 " with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov and the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation - Head of the Federal Service for supervision in the field of nature management, A.G. Sidorov  

 "Ecology is not a compulsory subject in the system of general education and is studied optional. Life shows, that this is not enough. Therefore, today the Republic by the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology and Support of the Ministry of Education and Science gives a new impetus to the development of environmental education, 

The program, which includes works on reconstruction, modernization and construction of a number of problematic objects of the city water supply and wastewater disposal system is being implemented in Tatarstan. These are biological treatment plants, KNS "Zarechnaya", water intake facilities, water supply node "Tecevskij", "Derbyshki", and engineering networks with pumping stations. 

The Minister of Ecology and Natural resources of RT Farid Abdulganiev called to refuse from detergents with phosphorus content in favor of lakes and rivers of the Republic at the meeting of the final Collegium of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan.  He explained that for many water facilities of Russia, and Tatarstan here is no exception, there is a problem of flowering of blue-green algae with formation of toxic substances. The reason is the use of detergents with high phosphorus content. 

Tatarstan will take an active part in the implementation of the priority project "Conservation and prevention of pollution of the Volga River". The project provides for 29 events for the total amount of 16.7 billion rubles. Of these, 9.0 billion - from the budget of Russia, 6.5 billion rubles - the budget of Tatarstan and 1.2 billion rubles - extrabudgetary resources. 

Specialists from three ministries started to implement the pilot project for planting trees and bushes in the water protection zone of the Kazanka River: The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of RT together with colleagues from the Ministry of Forestry of RT and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of RT.

In the framework of the year the ecology by 6 times more of GDS than in 2016 was repaired.  More than 3,000 living houses and more than 15,000 people in the republic are excluded from the risk zone with improvement of the safety of living for more than half a million of Tatarstan citizens. This was announced by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev. 

Training for small and medium business entrepreneurs will be held on January 19 at 10:00 in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan, Pavlyukhin Str., 75). Main theme: reporting on the generation, use, disposal and placement of wastes, occurred as a result of economic and other activities.
