Today the active participants of the environmental movement "Will be clean" called the citizens of Kazan to join the "Earth Hour" campaign. In the city center they gathered information about whether the residents know about the existence of the campaign and whether they support it. All interviewed volunteers were explained how and when to participate in the campaign and presented gifts that will help to save electricity.

The event was attended by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of the Ministry for Emergency Situations in the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on biological resources and the indifferent residents.

Today the question “About the Republic of Tatarstan preparedness for the spring flood” was discussed at Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, AlexanderShadrikov participated in the event.

Enterprises and entities of the Republic of Tatarstan can participate in the workshop “Underground Water-supply Sources. Legal regulation of activities connected with the use and protection of groundwater”. The event is organized by the Nature Ministry and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Scientific Production Association of the Geology and the Utilization of the Subterranean Depth of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The public utilities carried out the improvement works of biological treatment plant at the Kamsko-Ustyinsky and Kuybyshevsko-Zatonsky enterprises. The preventive measures were the consequence of the environmentalists’ inspection.

The lesson devoted to the nature conservation was held at the Municipal Rehabilitation Centre “Zdravushka” in Kazan. Environmental education activity for disabled kids was carried out by the experts of the Nature Ministry and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
