Within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in the Republic of Tatarstan, "ECOspring-2018" contest was announced. It takes place by the following categories:

- "Eco-school";

- "Eco-family";

- "Eco-enterprise";

- "Eco-kindergarten" (for kindergartens).

A briefing timed to the holding of a sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in the republic was held today in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Aleksandr Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, answered the questions of journalists. As the Minister noted, prior to the start of the bimonthly period, all municipalities, nature protection departments and supervisory authorities of the republic conducted organizational training and inspected the readiness of communal equipment and landfills.

"I choose a village, which means I choose cleanliness and nature." This is the opinion of pupils of the Kurguzinskiy school of Zelenodolskiy district. They voiced their ideas on protection of the territory of their native land in the framework of the VIII Republican contest of research, design and creative works of students "I choose a village".

Volunteers, leaders, heads and representatives of voluntary non-profit organizations and associations, employees of state institutions, commercial companies and other initiative groups aged 8 years and older can take part in "Dobrovoltsy Rossii" contest. The organizers of the event are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rospatriotcentr”, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rosdetcentr”, Association of Volunteer Centers.

29 streets with a length of more than 270 km will be put in order in Nizhnekamsk within the framework of sanitary-ecological bimonthly period. This is reported on the official website of Nizhnekamskiy district.

The first mass event within the framework of "ECOspring 2018" was held today in Kazan. The employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, activists of "Will Be Clean" movement, members of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, schoolchildren of school No. 24 and indifferent residents gathered to put things in order in the territory of "Dubrava" forest park.

The students of gymnasium No. 77 of Naberezhnye Chelny visited the world of flasks and test tubes. Exciting excursion to the ecoanalytical laboratory was conducted by the specialists of Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

16 vehicles, including 12 off-roaders, have now replenished the fleet of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The keys of new cars were given to environmental specialists by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan. "Today a powerful system of environmental supervision is established in the republic, it works thanks to highly advanced technologies”.
