The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan satisfied the claim of environmentalists for compensation for damage to the environment in the amount of 682,500 rubles. Let us recall that the violation of environmental legislation was revealed in 2017. Then the company engaged in processing waste and scrap of ferrous metals, allowed soil contamination with oil products. The company was brought to administrative responsibility by environmentalists. However, the company challenged in the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan the amount of damage caused to the environment - 682,500 rubles, this time the Court also took the side of environmentalists. To date, the Company is working to eliminate violations of environmental legislation, it will have to pay the amount of damage caused to nature.

Issues of attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in direction of “Environmental Protection” were discussed in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A meeting of the working group No. 8, headed by Fatikh Sibagatullin, a Member of the State Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, was held.

The meeting also discussed the implementation in 2019 of the national project "Ecology" in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Aleksey Kuzmitsky, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, held a videoconference meeting with representatives of the regional executive authorities on preparations for the III All-Russian Water Congress, which will be held in Moscow from June 24 to 26.

Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Egor Tarnavsky participated in the event.

The All-Russian Water Congress is an annual federal platform for interdepartmental and inter-sectoral dialogue to improve the efficiency of use, protection and conservation of water resources.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan installed photo traps on the territory of Almetyevsk district to detect violations of environmental legislation.

The photo-capture has recorded the fact of sewage discharge with the help of a sewage truck three times. During the investigation, inspectors identified the person who committed the administrative offense. In respect of the perpetrator, orders were issued for the imposition of an administrative penalty for each recorded case of offense.

On April 2 from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan (Pavlyukhina str., 75, office 209) will held “Open Day”. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology will answer questions regarding environmental protection and environmental safety in the Republic of Tatarstan, environmental management.

Open Day will be held in all territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The work within the framework of sanitary-environmental bimonthly period was discussed today at the zonal meeting in the Executive Committee of Apastovskiy district. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Environmental Protection, Fayaz Shakirov, the Head of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Vasin, representatives of Apastovskiy, Buinskiy Tetyushskiy, Kamsko-Ustinskiy, Drozhzhanovskiy and Kaibitskiy districts. They approved a plan of measures for sanitary cleaning of the district.

The campaign “Starlings flew back” continues in kindergarten No. 12 in Mamadysh town. Within its framework, pupils of the institution under the guidance of teachers and parents make birdhouses. In addition, during the campaign, young naturalists make bird feeders from waste materials, study the world of birds: their species and habits, structure and habitats, as well as get acquainted with the Red Book samples.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the launch of the contest of environmental drawings “Green Pencil”. Pupils of 1-11 grades of educational organizations of the republic are invited to participate. Acceptance of works will be carried out from March 20 to April 20, 2019 within the framework of “Eco-Spring” republican campaign.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration revealed a violation of environmental legislation requirements. An individual received and stored scrap metal in the water-protection zone of Almetyevsk town. As established by environmentalists, the enterprise stored all scrap in an open area, in the absence of a shed and a network of storm drains. The area cluttered with industrial waste was 60 sq.m. The perpetrator was issued a decision on this fact.
