The most active representatives of youth eco-associations and student community, experts of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental issues will gather at the IV Forum of Youth Environmental Organizations “ECOvolna”. It will be held from May 31 to June 1 on the basis of the health and educational complex “Baitik”. Leaders, specialists, curators, members of public organizations and associations aged from 14 to 30 years old, conducting their activities in the field of environmental education and the organization of environmental protection measures are invited to participate in the forum.

Ecological rafting on Sviyaga was held last weekend by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan. The length of the route was about 40 km, and the duration - three days. Rafting started in Malye Kokuzy village of Apastovskiy district, and finished in Burunduki village of Kaibitskiy district. Fourteen people took part in it - activists of the Russian Geographical Society and students with parents, as well as undergraduates from India and Algeria.
Today, within the framework of the received appeal of citizens about the spill of petroleum products in Kirovskiy district of Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a field visit. It has been established that more than 150 square meters of soil is contaminated. Samples of pollutant and soil were selected for general chemical analysis and assignment of hazard class.

On May 15, 2019, for the first time, within the framework of the National Project “Ecology”, the All-Russian Ecological Campaign “Water of Russia” will take place on the territory of the Admiralteiskaya Sloboda (coastal zone of the Volga River). A direct link will bring together participants from five constituent entities of the Russian Federation: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volgograd Republic, the Ulyanovsk, Ivanovo, and Tver Regions.
