Cleaning the territory may not be a boring exercise, but a fun game and competition. How to turn garbage collection into a city game was shown by activists of the children's public organization “Children of Kazan” together with the youth ecological movement of the Republic of Tatarstan “Will be clean!”. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan last weekend on the beach of Nizhneye Zarechye. Over the course of an hour, the guys in the playful form got the experience of waste management. During the work day, participants collected 113 bags of garbage.

In the framework of summing up the results of the contest of ecological drawings “Green Pencil”, an Internet voting was organized to determine the winners in the nomination “Audience Award”.

Last weekend, a Saturday voluntary cleanup was held in Kazan within the shoreline of Sredny Kaban Lake. The territory between the 33rd Voennyi gorodok and Achinskaya street was put in order. During the work day, 600 bags of garbage were collected. These are mainly plastic and glass bottles, disposable dishes left after picnics. Part of the garbage that was collected was sent for recycling.

4,178 appeals were received by the Republican Public Reception Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan from the beginning of the year.

Also, environmentalists reviewed 403 messages received via the “People's Control” system, and 554 notifications via e-mail, the Ministry’s “hot line” and WhatsApp, Telegram channels. 654 appeals were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.

161 kilograms of used batteries were collected by kindergartens in Zelenodolskiy district. The campaign for the delivery of waste current sources was initiated by educators of preschool educational institutions No. 1 “Lastochka”, No. 20 “Yolochka” within the framework of # ECO-Spring2019. Employees, pupils, parents and other kindergartens joined the collection, the campaign was also held in the children's library and the children's palace of culture. According to experts, this is not the first batch of batteries. Earlier in April, 195 kilograms of spent chemical current sources were transferred for recycling.

Results of two weeks in the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period were reported in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan by Aleksandr Shadrikov. A meeting was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Minnikhanov. During the speech, the Head of the environmental protection agency said that over the past week, 179 landfills were liquidated. He noted that, in general, there was a positive trend, large landfills were getting smaller, their total number is decreasing. During the two-week period, 57 places of unauthorized disposal of waste on municipal lands, 43 places on the territory of legal entities were identified based on the results of the flight. Based on the results, operational measures were taken to eliminate violations.

Employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told eco-activists how to dig holes for seedlings, how to plant them, and how to take care of them further.

Within the framework of “EcoSpring - 2019”, an environmental lesson was held in “Kindergarten No. 32 “Oduvanchik” of Almetyevsk town. Employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told pupils of the kindergarten about certain natural phenomena, separate gathering, and ecological lifestyle.

The Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizens about the dumping of industrial and consumer waste on the soil in Tukayevskiy district. After the environmentalists immediately left, the fact of violation was confirmed, an unauthorized landfill was revealed in one of the gardening non-profit partnerships. An administrative case has been initiated on this fact. To date, the violation has been eliminated.

Within the framework of “Eco-Spring-2019”, a regional ecological conference of schoolchildren “Ecology. Safety. Life” was held in the premises of Secondary School No. 1 with advanced study of certain subjects in Buinsk. The guys prepared interesting reports and tried to understand how people make money out of the garbage, while maintaining the purity of their surroundings, gave examples of the positive and negative effects of man on nature.
