Students of the “Secondary comprehensive school with advanced study of individual subjects No. 62” in Kazan now learned a lot about what the landfill is, how to sort garbage, what environmental habits you need to develop in order to preserve nature. Here employees of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an eco-lesson.

Today, a meeting of the Public Council was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Minister Aleksandr Shadrikov. The event was attended by scientists, experts, public figures and environmental officials. Summing up the meeting and overall work for the year, Aleksandr Shadrikov noted that all important significant projects undergo a mandatory examination of the Public Council.

Dismantling the inactive pipeline in the water protection zone of the Sterlya river was carried out by an oil company in Aznakayevskiy district. Ecologists found out that during the work a number of violations were committed. The inspectors of the Priikiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan are brought to administrative responsibility.

117 teachers from different regions of Russia and municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan shared their useful experience in the field of ecology at the conference. The event was held in the premises of Gymnasium named after M.M. Vakhitov of Buinsk town. At the meeting, the issues of the organization of local history research and project activities of schoolchildren and the development of environmental and geographical education were disclosed.

13,788 appeals were received at the Republican Public Reception of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan since the beginning of the year.

8,608 of them - through the School Eco-patrol mobile application.

In order to increase the standards of service and prestige of professions in the fields of tourism and hospitality, staffing the tourism industry, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, together with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Russia is a Country of Opportunities”, holds an environmental tourism contest in the framework of the All-Russian professional competition “Masters of Hospitality”.

It will be facilitated by the Cooperation Agreement, signed today with the Federal Research Center “Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, FSBI of Science Institute of Organic Chemistry named after N.D. Zelinskiy of the Russian Academy of Sciences and FSBI of Science Institute of General Physics named after A.M. Prokhorov of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The agreement provides for establishment of long-term partnerships and implementation of joint activities.

Today, the All-Russian Day for the Admission of Citizens was held in all territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation. Answers are given for all appeals examined, and for some questions, a decision has been made to conduct control and supervisory measures.

Reception of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from a resident about an unauthorized dump. On this fact a letter was sent to the Executive Committee of Zainskiy district for taking action. Currently, the landfill has been liquidated.

On March 30–31, 2020 the XI International Forum “ECOLOGY” will be held in Moscow, with the active support and participation of the State Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, as well as key ministries and departments.
