Pupils of the secondary school of the Novyi settlement of Tukayevskiy district acted as protectors of nature of their native land. The environmental lesson was held with participation of specialists from the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The department’s specialist Vladimir Muzafarov talked with children on topic of environmental protection, along with the ecologist, the pupils examined what steps they can take towards a clean future.

On March 8-9, 2020, the IV Republican Youth Ecological Scientific Conference will be held at the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. Following the results of the Conference, a collection of scientific papers (with the assignment of ISBN) will be published, which will include articles of participants who made oral presentations.

Today, proposals of Kaukointernational for restoration of Kazan silt fields were submitted to the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Speaking with Finnish experts, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, noted that ecology is a common asset. At the meeting of the STC, the head of the department explained that Kaukointernational representatives offer a comprehensive solution to the problem, involving the use of several methods at once.

An open educational environmental lesson focused on promoting the culture and practice of separate waste collection was held at multi-discipline school No. 181 of the Sovetskiy district of Kazan. The event was organized by Coca-Cola in Russia together with the non-profit movement ECA and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the lesson, 10-graders were shown a thematic multimedia presentation on separate garbage collection.

A fine of 200 thousand rubles was imposed on the organization for piles of dirty snow in Sovetskiy district of Kazan. The total area of ​​two snow dumps was about 1,400 square meters. Inspections have confirmed that snow samples are toxic. For the placement of dirty snow in unidentified places, the legal entity is held administratively liable. Now environmentalists are calculating the damage that will also be brought to the offender.

The options for reclamation of silt fields in the city of Kazan were presented today to the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, by specialists of the Finnish company Kaukointernational. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov also took part in the working meeting held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The project of reclamation of silt fields in Kazan is supposed to be included in the federal project “Improvement of the Volga” of the national project “Ecology”.

The teachers of the Children's Ecological and Biological Center at an environmental lesson told about the careful attitude to water bodies. Employees of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan also took part in the open lesson.

The trip to the “city of professions” was made by the pupils of the senior group of the “Skazaka” kindergarten in Kichui village of Almetyevskiy district. This time, the children studied which way the sorted garbage goes to specialized enterprises, and what professions are involved in this process.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan (Volga) Federal University announces the start of competitions among students of higher educational institutions of the republic and scientists who have contributed to solving urgent environmental problems of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A campaign to receive information on the status and change of stocks of solid minerals (5-GR statistical reporting form) has been completed. More than half of 284 subsoil users of the republic, committed violations. 45 of the total did not provide reporting, 95 - deviated from the agreed production volume, 5 subsoil users conducted mining operations on agricultural lands, 8 - carried out production in the absence of an agreed mining development plan.
