A message about the release of yellow substance along Motornaya Street in Naberezhnye Chelny was received by the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan through a single emergency dispatch service of the Ministry of Emergencies. As ecologists found, a yellowish coating on the snow cover arose due to the ingress of a chemical substance - hexavalent chromium - into the air. The area of pollution was 12,566 square meters. An administrative investigation has been instituted against the enterprise.
For violation of the rules for temporary storage of waste and soil contamination with oil products in the city of Bugulma, a fine of 600 thousand rubles was imposed on the company. Due to the fact that the penalty was not paid within the time period established by law, its amount was doubled in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 20.25 of the Administrative Code. At the moment, Kazan Production Association has paid the full fine - 1,200,000 thousand rubles.
