For violation of environmental legislation, operation of the Chelny enterprise was suspended for 20 days

A report on the unpleasant smell of chemicals was received by the Prikamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny complained about one of the enterprises along the street Toselesh. Laboratory analysis of atmospheric air has revealed the source of odor. In the course of the visit of the inspectors, several violations were found. The enterprise operating the equipment for the manufacture of fiberglass products with the use of gelcoats, there were no standards for maximum permissible emissions and permission to discharge pollutants. For non-compliance with environmental requirements during operation, the enterprise was brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 8.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The materials of the case on the fact of absence of permission for the release of harmful pollutants into air were transferred to the Naberezhnye Chelny city court. According to the decision, the company will have to eliminate the violations. The punishment is provided for in part 1 of Article 8.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Emission of harmful substances into the atmospheric air without a special permission" in the form of suspension of activities for a period of 20 days.
