The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, was elected as the President of the Kayak and Canoe Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan. The candidacy of the head of the environmental department was unanimously supported by the participants of an extraordinary electoral conference that was held today at the Center for rowing sports.

Water area and coastal zone of the Kazanka River were inspected in Arskiy district. A joint raid on compliance with environmental requirements in the water protection zone was conducted by specialists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with employees of the Arskiy District Department of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on biological resources.

Illegal dumping area of ​​160 square meters was liquidated at the request of environmentalists near the Novoe Shigaleevo village of Pestechinskiy district. Unauthorized warehousing of waste was revealed by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the raid.

Young Tatarstan residents aged 3 to 18 can participate in the All-Russian Children's Painting Competition "Colorful Drops". The goal is to popularize ideas of water conservation and respect for water resources among preschool children, schoolchildren, their parents and the pedagogical community.

The fact of license-free extraction of subsurface resources was revealed in Kushmanskiy rural settlement of Kaibitskiy district. Illegal development at the initial stage was stopped by the inspectors of Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of the Kaibitskiy district prosecutor's office.

Today the program "Clean Tatarstan" will tell about ecological education and enlightenment of the population. Guests of the studio are Dmitry Ivanov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Problems of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and Damir Valiullin, Head of Information Systems and Ecological Education Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On September 15 a general cleaning will be held in the territory of the whole republic. Within the framework of the World Clean-up Day, Tatarstan will join the environmental campaigns "General cleaning of the country", "Green Russia" and "Let's do it!". In the capital of the republic, voluntary Saturday clean-up days will spend on Sredniy Kaban Lake, in the forest park of Dubravnaya street. The central site for general cleaning will be the territory of the protected area "Golubye ozera".

30 000 m² of the coastal zone and 2,500 m² of the bottom of the Kazanka River were cleared of debris by  representatives of the Russian Geographical Society and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, indifferent citizens and divers from the submarine research team named after. A.A. Leonov.

Whole family to cleaning! With such an appeal Tatyana Chibidina, Teacher of the secondary school No. 3 of the city of Nurlat, calls not only pupils, but also their parent. With the purpose of solving environmental issues in the native region, the teacher initiated the campaign "Dad, Mom, Me - Eco-Family".

Aleksandr Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, told the delegation about the territorial system of monitoring the quality of atmospheric air and technical innovations in the work of ecologists.
