Snow heaps formed after cleaning the territory of the production base were discovered by inspectors of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a raid in Nizhnekamsk. The enterprise did not take out the snow from the adjacent site, but simply threw behind the gate, environmentalists said. The area of the snow dump was 20 square meters, and the volume - 75 cubic meters. For the purpose of determining the hazard class, the laboratory specialists selected samples. In respect of the offender, an administrative protocol will be drawn up in accordance with Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the RF.
More than 150 schoolchildren from Tatarstan, Mari-El, Chuvashia, Udmurtia and the Nizhny Novgorod Region gathered today at the XXV Volga Scientific Environmental Conference of Schoolchildren named after A. M. Terentyev. Here, children were able to share results of their research in the field of agro-ecology, mining, industrial and chemical ecology, bio-indication and bio-monitoring.
How does a person change the view of planet, why is it important to collect garbage separately and take part in clean-up days? Answers to these and other eco-questions were searched by pupils of the Cheremshan Lyceum together with specialists from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The events were attended by pupils of 5, 6, 10 grades of the educational institution.

Trucks while conducting of unauthorized discharge were fixed by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan near Almetyevsk town. 940 square meters of land was cluttered up with soil mixed with concrete and wood waste, plastic sheeting, containers of ferrous metals, where about 300 square meters of waste turned out to be on the soil. On this fact, administrative protocols were drawn up against violators by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration. The company faces a fine of up to 700 thousand rubles.
50 kg of batteries for recycling were collected by pupils of Aishinskiy secondary school of Zelenodolskiy district. The eco-team of schoolchildren has been working since last year. Environmental campaigns, eco-lessons are held at Aishinskiy secondary school regularly.
The Meeting of the Presidium of the Council on Strategic Development and National Projects was held on the eve by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. In addition to the innovations identified by the Minister, in order to increase the level of professional training, it is planned to develop an educational program for waste management specialists and employees of nature conservation in 2019.
In the course of supervisory measures, specialists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan discovered a breakthrough in the pipeline of the Leninogorsk oil and gas producing enterprise. Environmentalists issued a decree on administrative punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 126 thousand rubles, also the company carried out technical reclamation of the disturbed area with the export of contaminated soil to a specialized organization, and measures for implementation of biological reclamation are planned for the spring period.
“With a view to state regulation of impact, in the reporting year, 417 materials were reviewed for setting standards for maximum permissible emissions and obtaining permits for emissions, 402 permits were issued, two were suspended”, said Sergey Bogatyrev, Head of the Environmental Impact Assessment Department. In turn, the Head of the Environmental Protection Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Shubin added that in order to reduce the negative impact of vehicles, an operation called “Clean Air” was carried out together with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Department. 6,696 vehicles were checked, 375 administrative protocols were compiled.
