Start of spring cleaning of city streets was given today in Nizhnekamsk. In order to bring the territory in a proper ecological condition, the staff of the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamskiy Municipal District and city institutions conducted voluntary Wednesday clean-up day.
More than 150 Chelny city schoolchildren have joined the city environmental campaign "Welcome, starlings!" Students from 25 educational institutions of the city took part in the event, timed to the Year of Volunteer and the Days of Protection from Environmental Danger”.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan National Research Technological University will unite efforts in the field of environmental protection. Today the agreement on cooperation was signed by Aleksandr Shadrikov, Minister and Sergei Yushko, Rector of the University.
