For the purpose of environmental education, environmental lessons were conducted in schools No. 28 and No. 43 of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Teachers in an understandable form familiarized children with such concepts as separate collection, processing, saving natural resources, reuse. Eco-Lesson gave the younger generation a holistic view of benefits of recycling over other dangerous and not so farsighted ways of handling waste.

The fact of unauthorized storage of contaminated snow was revealed during a raid by specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in Samosyrovo. The area of ​​the snow dump was more than 20 thousand square meters. During the survey, snow samples were taken to determine the hazard class of the waste. An administrative investigation has been initiated against the official.

A meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies of the republic was held in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The parties discussed issues of interaction in implementation of control and supervisory activities. During the dialogue, the parties discussed issues of interaction for the current year, primarily aimed at reducing the number of environmental offenses.

Winter feeding of birds is a rather old tradition. An event dedicated to the care of birds was held in the Tulumbayevskiy forest, near the “Chaika” health camp. Specialists from the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Aministration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, children and teachers of the kindergarten “ABVGDEYKa” took part in it. In the process, kids learned to take care of wintering birds, choose food that is suitable for birds, learned about the types of feeders and the characteristics of their production.

Reducing the proportion of polluted wastewater, ensuring the sustainable functioning of water management complex, construction and modernization of municipal wastewater treatment plants, elimination of accumulated damage. These and other issues of organizing cooperation in implementation of regional programs in the field of ecology were discussed today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Following the meeting, a decision was made to develop further cooperation with the National Ecological Operator AO within the framework of implementation of the national project “Ecology”.

According to the residents' requests, inspectors of the Priikskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out an inspection of a number of objects, sampled snow at 5 points in the city. According to the results of the analyses, the excess of oil products, ammonium ion, iron, chloride ion, manganese was revealed. In order to take measures of the prosecutor’s response, all materials of the inspection were transferred to the Tatar Environmental Inter-district Prosecutor’s Office.

In July 2018, environmentalists identified an exceeded content of pollutants in the Karatai river of Leninogorskiy district. On this fact, a report on initiation of an administrative offense was drawn up against a legal entity and a penalty of 80,000 rubles was imposed. In order to control water bodies, the specialists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a re-analysis of natural water, which also revealed the excess. Violations have not been eliminated. An administrative investigation under Article 8.13 part.4 of Administrative Code of the Russian Federation was initiated.

For the purpose of environmental education in Kazan, from February 1 to February 25, work will be undertaken to promote the separate collection of garbage. The competition is organized by the Education Department of Kazan, the City Children's Ecological and Biological Center of Kazan. The project is based on practice-oriented activities, aimed at the active involvement of schoolchildren in solving a real environmental problem. Schoolchildren of 2-11 grades can take part in the competition. The implementation of this project will allow to attract the attention of schoolchildren and their parents to the ecological condition of the city.

Garbage sorting and collecting, depending on its origin, is a process that allows you to donate "second life" to waste. Pupils of the 5th grades of 18 educational organizations of Naberezhnye Chelny were able to design and present their model of a modern container. One of the stages of the urban ecological-local history game program “Green Relay”, dedicated to the topic of separate waste collection was held in the premises of the Children's Ecological and Biological Center No. 4. Pupils under the guidance of mentors were offered to develop a model that would be made of plastic, cardboard, wood, paper, foam, and other materials used as secondary resources.

The child's communication with wildlife plays important role in upbringing the younger generation. The coming winter colds not only delight children with snow, and adults with a festive mood, but also complicate the life of the birds staying in winter with us. For the purpose of environmental education a campaign was held by eco-team in the "Lyceum No. 35". The event is called "Restaurant for birds". Pupils made their own bird feeders.
