From the beginning of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, 14 appeals were received from the students in “People's control” system of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan is the technical operator of the action among students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the republic on informing about places of unauthorized waste disposal.

As part of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, specialists of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a regular road inspection in Sarmanovskiy district. Eco-lesson “Let’s save the Planet” was held in kindergarten No. 20 in Chistopol. The event was attended by specialists from the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of pre-school educational institutions of the city. The children presented an ecological theatrical performance to the audience.

In the course of supervisory measures, from the beginning of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, specialists of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration identified 43 sites for unauthorized disposal of waste. Of these, four materials were submitted to the prosecution authorities, three to the district executive committees, four more materials to the judicial authorities with a claim for taking measures to eliminate garbage.

From May 14 to 17, the 21st International Scientific and Industrial Forum “Great Rivers (Environmental, Hydrometeorological, Energy Security)’ ICEF” will be held in Nizhny Novgorod.
