The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the decision of the Almetyevsk city court on recognizing the Bashkortostan enterprise guilty of violating of Part 2 of Article 8.7 of the Code on Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure to reclaim land, enforce land improvement and protect soil”.

Let us recall that the staff of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration in 2018 revealed a violation of environmental legislation. The organization rented a warehouse for storage of technical lump sulfur in Almetyevsk town. However, as environmentalists have discovered, bigbags with sulfur were stored in the open area adjacent to the warehouse in the absence of adequate protection.

2,949 appeals were received by the Republican Public Reception Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan from the beginning of the year.

1,721 of them were received through the School Eco-patrol mobile application.

Also, ecologists reviewed 282 messages received via the “People's Control” system, and 420 notifications via e-mail, the Ministry’s “hot line” and WhatsApp and Telegram communication channels. 526 appeals were received at personal receptions of citizens and through the reception of the Ministry.

The inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the staff of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a raid on the route of the upcoming WorldSkills World Championship in Laishevskiy district. Today, two landfills were identified as part of the raid. Trash piles must be eliminated within 30 days.

The children learned how various types of household waste are sorted and recycled and how much time is spent on their processing. Kids learned to make interesting and colorful crafts from plastic plates and glasses, bottles, disks.

34 sites of unauthorized waste disposal were discovered today during a commission roundabout for checking the sanitary condition of the right-of-way of the Kazan region of the Gorky Railway and adjacent territories along the route: Kazan – Vysokaya Gora - Vosstanie - Sviyazhsk - Kazan. Notifications will be sent to violators of environmental legislation, resolutions and protocols will be drawn up, according to which landfills should be eliminated as soon as possible.

Within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period specialists of Priikskiy Territorial Administration revealed violations of land legislation. Namely, a dump of 62 sq.m was discovered. The head of the management company was issued a caution. The landfill must be eliminated in a short time.

Eco-friendly, practical, economical. All this is about the results of the project of the Kazan school No. 146 - “Second Life to Tires!”. The campaign, initiated by one of the pupils, made it possible to collect the recyclables needed for manufacture of 500 sq.m of safe rubber coating.
