Acceptance of applications for participation in the competition of projects “National Environmental Award named after V.I. Vernadsky” was extended until December 1, 2020 inclusive. Any individuals and legal entities, regardless of their organizational and legal form, are invited to participate.

The competition was held by the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation with support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. The goal of the project is to form personal responsibility for the fate of their home - planet Earth and the development of an ecological worldview among the younger generation.
The contest was announced for schoolchildren aged 7 to 10. The organizer of the event is Managing Company “PZhKH” - a regional operator for handling solid municipal waste in the Western zone of Tatarstan. The main goal is to draw the attention of younger generation to the separate collection and to the issues of competent waste sorting.
Based on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region, the meeting of young naturalists in the Republic of Tatarstan took place in an online format. From April to September, pupils and teachers of general education organizations were invited to take part in competitions organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Geographical Society. Competitive applications were received from 25 municipal districts of the republic from 162 participants. As part of the online defense of the finalists of the competitions, the winning projects were determined.
Due to the current sanitary and epidemiological situation, the republican competition “ECOleader-2020” has been suspended.
The winner of the award was announced today at the Federation Council in the framework of the Second All-Russian competition “Reliable Partner – Ecology”. The event was attended by representatives of federal executive authorities, organizational partners and competition experts. The award ceremony was broadcast live.
The Russian movement of schoolchildren is holding the autumn stage of the competition. It will run until December 18, 2020.
Results of the Competition are posted on the official website of the Russian movement of schoolchildren (rdsh.rf) and in the official group of the Russian movement of schoolchildren on the Vkontakte social network (skm_rus) no later than December 18, 2020.

Students of higher, secondary vocational and secondary specialized educational institutions aged 15 to 30 are invited to participate in the All-Russian student eco-quest “Voda.online”. An intellectual game aimed at environmental education and promotion of a careful attitude to water, is a platform where tasks compiled in an entertaining educational form reveal the value and uniqueness of water bodies in Russia.
Pupils and teachers of secondary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and institutions of additional education of the Republic of Tatarstan are invited to participate. The purpose of the event is to popularize and inform the population about the implementation of the national project “Ecology”, as well as to attract the attention of young people to solving environmental problems in the republic.
The Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky is accepting applications for participation in the Competition for the Honorary Environmental Award.
