More than 120 schoolchildren from cities and municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, Moscow, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mari El and the Orenburg Region took part in the XXVI Volga Scientific Ecological Conference of Schoolchildren named after A.M. Terentyev. The conference is held in order to attract pupils to research and practical work in the field of environmental protection, to exchange experience of the Volga region to improve the environmental situation, to identify the most gifted, creatively thinking and professionally oriented pupils.

On March 8-9, 2020, the IV Republican Youth Ecological Scientific Conference will be held at the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. Following the results of the Conference, a collection of scientific papers (with the assignment of ISBN) will be published, which will include articles of participants who made oral presentations.

XXVI Volga Scientific Ecological Conference for Schoolchildren named after A.M. Terentyev will be held in the premises of the “Duslyk” recreation and educational complex on February 21-24, 2020.
