Today, a round table dedicated to World Water Day was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan which is held annually on March 22. Opening the round table, Deputy Head - Head of the Water Resources Department of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Khanbikov greeted the guests and spoke about the work done as part of the holiday in educational institutions.

In order to develop pupils’ knowledge about the composition of the soil, employees of the Zavolzhskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an eco-lesson at the Tetyushskaya Tatar Secondary School. According to ecologists, the protection of soils and their rational use is one of the most important tasks of all mankind.

Specialists from the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson in kindergarten No. 128 of a combined type of the Kirovskiy district of Kazan. The event was timed to the Day of Wildlife, which is traditionally celebrated in March. Environmentalists told about the history of the holiday and explained why it is so important to create conditions for the conservation of pristine nature and its inhabitants.

From April 13 to May 15, 2020, eco-activists teams from all over the republic will take part in an online game in the quest format. The organizers of the online eco-quest are the Youth Ecological Movement of the Republic of Tatarstan “Will Be Clean” with support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Primary school pupils of Arskaya secondary school No. 7 taught a lesson in environmental literacy to their peers. Watching popular cartoons, poetic performances, a poster contest, a quiz, musical numbers have turned into a real ecological holiday.

Experiments, creative numbers and eco-projects. In such an original format, a seminar “Young Ecologists – Nature Protectors” took place in the kindergarten “Topolek” of Tukayevskiy district. The event was attended by specialists from the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, they talked about the environmental campaigns carried out in the republic, in particular, called on them to participate in a project to collect spent batteries held by Durasell Russia.

Employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized an event called “Water Quality Day” for pupils of the Lesno-Kaleikinskiy Secondary School of Almetyevskiy district. During the interactive lesson, the pupils received important knowledge: they determined the value of water as a vital resource, found out which water can be considered clean and safe, conducted experiments demonstrating the properties of water, and repeated ways to take care of water resources.

This campaign was launched by activists of the youth movement “Will be clean”. From March 2 to March 31, they will hold environmental awareness-raising events in all cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. Pupils and students will participate in thematic lessons, master classes and environmental seminars. Anyone over the age of 14 can hold an eco-lesson or a thematic master class in their school.     Employees of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry conducted an environmental lesson on topic “Culture of household waste management” in the Kuakbash General Education School of Leninogorskiy district. Pupils in cognitive form received recommendations to reduce the indicator of the “ecological footprint” of a man: to reduce the number of things that we throw away, use paper bags for shopping, sort waste, participate in promotions and voluntary clean-up days.
