In a playful way, the children were told and shown how to properly handle waste and how to act to reduce the garbage footprint in everyday life. At the end of the lesson, each student received memorable gifts from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The history of this holiday began in 1992, when at a UN conference where environmental problems were discussed; the great importance of environmental education for the development of mankind was emphasized.
