Unsorted waste from homes, rubber, wood debris and plant residues were identified by inspectors of the Priiksky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in the western part of the village of Urussu, as part of a two-month sanitary and environmental campaign. The total area of the cluttered plot was 570 sq. m., the volume – 680 cubic meters.
An emergency spill of petroleum products occurred last weekend in the Almetyevsky district near "Orlyonok" children's health camp. During the inspection of the territory, it was found that the accident occurred due to excessive pressure on the pipeline. As a result, there was a release of petroleum products into the well, which led to its overflow and spilling the contents onto the soil. The total area of the contaminated site was 640 sq. m.
Storage of construction waste and repair work waste was found on Berkutova Street in the Sovetsky district of Kazan. The message was received by the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The ecologists, together with representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of the Sovetsky District, the administration of the Sovetsky District and the Federal Registration Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, went to the site to investigate and establish the exact coordinates. The total area of unauthorized waste disposal was 636 sq. m., volume – 5725 cubic meters, height – 9 m.
Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny complained about the clutter and the smell of plastic coming from one of the industrial bases on Tizlek Street. The inspectors of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, who inspected the site, confirmed the presence of environmental violations. Non-compliance with the requirements for the collection and temporary storage of waste, namely plastic film, paper packaging, plastic, the absence of passports for MSW and hazardous waste, was established.
11 construction organizations operating in the south-eastern region of Tatarstan became victims of an unscrupulous transportation company. Resorting to the services of private individuals –KAMAZ truck drivers, the entire volume of waste was taken out and dumped on the territory of the Pismyansky rural settlement of the Leninogorsk district, on the soil. The total area of illegal storage was 3.900 square meters, the violation was revealed last year.
Violations in the water protection zone of the Bolgar River were stopped by environmentalists in the Almetyevsky district. During the raid, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan found a pit that led to a change in the riverbed. Having arbitrarily removed and moved a fertile layer of soil with a volume of 100 cubic meters, the violator allowed damage to 600 sq. m. of the coastal strip.
The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan granted the claim of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for compensation for damage caused to the environment in the amount of 2.470.248 rubles.
Since the beginning of the year, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have recorded 526 violations of environmental legislation during an environmental raid. Among them are large garbage dumps on the territory of the Sovietsky, Kirovsky and Moscowsky districts of Kazan, which to this day have not been eliminated. So, since 2019, the violation of SMW disposal in the territory of the Tsaritsynsky forest with an area of 220 square meters, in the amount of 44 cubic meters, has not been eliminated.
At the request of citizens, inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan made an inspection trip to the residential area of Konstantinovka in the Sovetsky district. During the environmental monitoring, waste storage, where approximately more than 10 KAMAZ trucks of garbage were brought in, was identified. In relation to the owners of the land plot, administrative protocols under Part 1 of art.8.2 The Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Non-compliance with the requirements in the field of environmental protection in the collection, accumulation, transportation, processing, disposal or neutralization of industrial and consumer waste" have been drawn up.
At the request of citizens, waste from the demolition and dismantling of buildings in the form of wood debris was identified by inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry on the outskirts of Tonsherma village. The area of the cluttered plot was 150 sq. m., the volume – 27 cubic meters.
