Primary school pupils of Arskaya secondary school No. 7 taught a lesson in environmental literacy to their peers. Watching popular cartoons, poetic performances, a poster contest, a quiz, musical numbers have turned into a real ecological holiday.

     A traditional interregional conference was held in Verkhne-Arbashskaya Secondary School. The event was dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory, the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR and the 90th Anniversary of the Kukmorskiy district. Pupils and teachers of educational institutions, specialists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Russian Geographical Society took part in the work.

An event under the title “Homeland - the green cradle” took place in the Nizhnekuyukskaya school of Atninskiy district. Pupils of grades 6 and 8 prepared a theatrical performance in which they conveyed to their peers the importance of making the right decisions in relation to the nature of their native land.

Original crafts made from natural material adorn the Urnyak kindergarten of Arskiy district. According to the Head of the preschool institution, the head of the Galimov family makes interesting works not only during competitions, but also donates them just to decorate the kindergarten and make the children's learning process even more fun.

With such a motto, a quiz with elementary school pupils was held in the Novo-Kyrlaiskaya secondary school of Arskiy district within the framework of the “Feed the birds in winter” campaign. Children competed in teams for knowledge of proverbs about birds, and also guessed riddles and puzzles, answered questions with pleasure. The guys set a high pace of activity, which persisted throughout the quiz. For the correct answers, the team “Bullfinch” and “Tit” received pumpkin seeds in the form of points. The winners were determined by a jury composed of teachers and employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The role of birds in the surrounding world and peculiarities of their feeding in the winter were discussed with pupils of the Tyulyachinskiy kindergarten No. 1. The preschool children demonstrated knowledge on feathered friends as part of an environmental activity. Young connoisseurs of nature told which species of birds live in the republic, which of them are migratory, and which remain to winter in the territory of their native land. Together with their parents, the children made feeders.

The intramural stage of the Interregional Ecological Forum of Schoolchildren “Land of the Motherland” was held today at the Nurinerskiy secondary school of Baltasinskiy district. About 150 works were received from pupils of 2-11th grades of educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, Malmyzhskiy district, Kirov Region, Mari-Turek District, Mari El. Those, who scored the most points, passed to the final stage.

The project “Environmental GTO” has been implemented at Arsk elementary school No. 3 since September last year. The goal of the project is to increase the level of pupils’ knowledge about the laws of animate and inanimate nature, to arouse interest in ecology and to form a responsible attitude to the world around.
