The closed-cycle economy, energy efficiency and environmental safety were discussed today at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center as part of the Tatarstan International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Ecology - 2021. The section organized by the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Shigapov, as well as representatives of science, universities, enterprises and organizations of the republic and Moscow.

Construction and large-sized household waste, including mercury lamps, were identified by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry in the territory of the village of Cheremshan during a two-month sanitary and environmental survey. The total area of unauthorized waste storage was 2.000 sq. m.

Employees of the State Inspectorate of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental raid on the areas under the jurisdiction of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration. The survey revealed 9 cases of violations of environmental legislation. So, in the territory of Buinsk, a number of unauthorized storage of waste in the form of construction, wood, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as waste from homes, was revealed. At the moment, the dimensions and volumes of clutter are being registered.

Today, the opening of the Tatarstan International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Ecology took place at the Kazan-Expo Exhibition Center, according to the website of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail Ivanov, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. The event was also attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov. 

From April 1 to May 28, 2021, Russia hosts qualifying competitions for participation in the final of the IX national championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia). The semi-final of the competition in the competence "Environmental Protection" is held in Moscow. A total of 10 participants to compete on the site. The Republic of Tatarstan is represented by Aidar Karimullin, a student of the Kazan Petrochemicals College named after V. V. P. Lushnikova.

On April 24, a republican subbotnik will be held in the municipal districts and cities of the republic. Traditional measures to clean up the territories will be held within the framework of the sanitary and environmental bi-month and the republican campaign "Ecovesna 2021".

The dump of household waste was formed in the Soviet district on Privolnaya Street. Such appeal was received from concerned citizens of the residential area of Konstantinovka to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration, promptly went to the site, examined the specified area and recorded the fact of environmental violations. Unsorted waste from homes littered the plot with an area of 260 sq. m., the volume was 130 cubic meters.

The event on garbage collection according to the rules of separate collection with further processing of waste is held within the framework of two national projects – "Ecology", "Housing and Urban Environment". Within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, an air survey of the territories of Kazan, as well as 10 municipal districts was conducted: Arsky, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Vysokogorsky, Kukmor, Laishevsky, Pestrechinsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Sabinsky and Tyulyachinsky. The flight was made by the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Shigapov.
