Today, the II International exhibition-forum "Ecotech", opened by the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Sergei Donskoi, started in Moscow. The stand of the Republic of Tatarstan, which presents modern developments in the field of ecology of the largest republic enterprises, has already been visited by delegations from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Khakassia, Chelyabinsk and Volgograd regions and other regions of Russia. "Ecologically oriented management of the economy is a distinctive feature of Tatarstan," they noted.

Warmed the houses and made aeration system to prevent ice-holes from freezing. On the Lake Kaban near the G.Kamal Theater, all conditions were created for wintering of the noble birds. This year, on the territory of the reservoir pumps were installed to prevent the ice cover, which will allow swans to stay all year round. At the same time, samples of water from the lake are regularly taken by specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the results of sampling, there were no excesses of pollutants in the reservoir.

2 thousand square meters of cleaned territory and more than 3 thousand green spaces. In Menzelinsk were identified the most active nature defenders. Representatives of general educational institutions and social movements, enterprises and organizations of the district gathered at the solemn event, organized by the Prikamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in conjunction with the Executive Committee of the Menzelinsk Municipal District and the multi-disciplinary youth center "Vesta".

Applications are accepted for participation in the contest "Specially Protected Natural Territories", which participants can become preschoolers and schoolchildren from all over Russia. The goal of the competition is to develop an outlook and analytical abilities, to instill in children the responsibility for the nature of their native places, to teach them to observe the surrounding world.
