Since the beginning of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, 1301 reports have been received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. 498 of them were appeals through the mobile application "School Eco-Patrol", 292 - through the "People's Control" system, 250 messages via WhatsApp and Telegram communication channels.

How is the environment monitored? What equipment do environmental specialists use for sample analysis? The answers to these and other interesting questions were learned today by the pupils of the 8th grade of the Arsk school No. 6.

Environmental protection campaigns took place at three sites in Nizhnekamsk within the framework of the sanitary and ecological bimonthly period. Heads of the city administration, judicial officials, representatives of management companies, specialists from the Zakamskiy Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the arrangements for landscaping and gardening of urban areas.

Dump of waste from ferrous metals on the territory of 1,770 sq.m. was discovered by inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of RT in November of last year. As a result of violation of the rules for the management of environmentally hazardous waste, the company allowed pollution of 827.7 square meters of soil with oil products.

On May 12, within the framework of the Day of Environmental Education celebrated in Russia, the city environmental festival Ecovesna will take place in Naberezhnye Chelny. Starting from 13.00 on the territory of the Hippodrome, ecological master classes, a fair, shows from equestrian school, performances and games from eco-movements will take place.

From May 15 to August 14 Kazan will host the All-Russian competition "Green Route". To participate in the absentia stage of the Competition, teams consisting of 7 to 15 people should choose an ecological pathway, draw up a certificate of the historical significance of the route and submit proposals for its popularization.

On the eve of the Great Victory Day, Priiksk Territorial Administration staff congratulated veterans, who in turn shared their stories about life before the war and their fate during the harsh years of the Great Patriotic War.

Refuse dumps, identified by environmental experts during overflight of Vysokogorsk district territories were promptly liquidated. Central Territorial Administration inspectors of the RT Ministry of Ecology identified three refuse dumps of 35 sq.m. total area between Novoye Shigaleevo and Panovka villages.

Personal reception of citizens will be held on May 11 at 10.00 in the Executive Committee of Leninogorsk (Kutuzova Street, 1 bld., room 12).
