For two months, schoolchildren will collect used batteries in special containers from Duracell Russia. The most active students and educational institutions will receive valuable gifts.

Employees of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the meeting of the garden association “Industry”. The event discussed the ecological state of territories, restriction of economic activities in water protection zone of water body and conditions for ensuring free access of citizens to the public water body and its coastal zone.

Today, an “Open Day” was held in all territorial administrations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A number of issues were raised, such as violations in the field of ecology, improvement of public spaces, public education, interaction in eco-education, etc.

Acceptance of applications for participation in the national contest of environmental projects “Ecology of Native Land” is open. Pupils of schools, students of higher educational institutions, secondary specialized educational institutions, specialized education organizations over 12 years old can take part in the contest. Until May 30, it is necessary to prepare and implement a project in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in one of the following directions:

- improvement of natural and other territories;

- research projects/environmental expeditions;

- projects of environmental education.

In order to promote environmental awareness, an environmental lesson was conducted in the children's ecological and biological center of Nizhnekamsk.
