Federal State Unitary Enterprise “RosRAO” will carry out work on elimination of radioactive contamination in Chistopolskiy district. The company won the tender for rehabilitation of territories of non-projected radioactive waste storage, initiated by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The project of the work will be developed and agreed upon by the contractor with local authorities, the factory administration, federal and republican services. The recovered waste for disposal will be transferred to the “National Radioactive Waste Management Operator”. Work is scheduled to be completed by December 20.

Last weekend, the Aksubayevskiy Butter Plant took measures to dismantle the waste pipe. The progress of the work was personally inspected by the Head of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Akhmetzyanov. With participation of environmentalists, part of the dug pipe was cut and concreted by installing a plug.

The results of work on equipping gas stations in Zelenodolskiy and Pestrechinskiy districts with systems for capturing and recovering motor fuel vapors were reviewed by specialists from the atmospheric air protection department and inspectors from the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Currently, according to the 2019 equipment schedule, work has been done at 61 gas stations in Tatarstan, and by the end of the year a similar procedure will have to be implemented at another 16 gas stations.

The traditional summer walk of pupils of the Tyulyachinskiy kindergarten No. 1 turned into a creative and informative activity. Employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson for preschool children. During the conversation, children guessed riddles about bugs and butterflies, studied the characteristics of different types of insects.

The new law on horticultural non-profit partnerships (FZ-459 dated December 29, 2014 as amended by FZ-217 dated July 29, 2017) established that from January 1, 2020, gardeners are required to obtain a license to use wells for water production for household needs. A delegation of environmentalists from the Moscow Region, led by First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region Vladislav Kholodkov and Head of the Information Technology Department Denis Savchenkov, arrived today on a working visit to the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, acquainted his colleagues with the supervisory equipment used to examine the territory of the republic and promptly respond to cases of violation of environmental laws. “We have one common task - preservation of the country's natural wealth. I am very glad that in the framework of this meeting we exchanged experience in introducing advanced technologies into our daily work”, said Aleksandr Shadrikov, thanking colleagues for the meeting.

Today, work continued on Maryino Lake to clean the surface of the water from algae. Employees of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with active volunteers spent the second day of the Saturday voluntary clean-up day. Note that since the beginning of the Clean Shores environmental campaign, more than 300 water bodies have been cleaned in the republic. In total, more than 6,000 people took part in the events.

On August 4, 2019, the eco-quest “Clean Games” will take place in Nizhnee zarechye of Kazan. Within 2-3 hours, teams will collect garbage in a certain territory, and earn points, which later can be used to obtain additional equipment. Winners will receive prizes, and all collected garbage will be sent for recycling. Bags and gloves will be issued on site. The shore of Maryino Lake has become cleaner! Today, within the framework of the “Clean Shores” campaign, employees of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have cleared a favorite resting place for citizens. Volunteers - not indifferent residents of the city joined the campaign. There was plenty of garbage: glass, plastic bottles, metal cans, old cans. In a couple of hours of working together, the participants managed to collect and transport several dozen bags of waste. They also began to clear the lake from algae.
