A meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on preparation of proposals on operating regimes of the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Representatives of the regions emphasized that they intend to support the interests of the Middle Volga at the meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Regulation of the Reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade, which will be held on February 6 in Moscow.
The reception of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from local residents about the development of a quarry in Nurlatskiy district. According to the Nurlat residents, clay was illegally exported from this site. The inspectors made a trip to the address indicated in the appeal. As the inspection showed, this territory belonged to one of the enterprises of the Nurlatskiy district, but it violated the terms of the agreement on subsoil use. Currently, the organization voluntarily paid a fine of 300 thousand rubles.

Environmentalists reminded schoolchildren of the harm plastic bags do to our planet.
The event was organized within the framework of the environmental social and educational project “Ecolyata – Doshkolyata”. Dressed in a distinctive, ecological color, the pupils of the “Teremok” kindergarten read poems about nature, painted thematic drawings and posters. The guys visited the laboratory of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Pupils were shown a laboratory with instruments and equipment for taking and determining air, water and soil samples.

Employees of the Prikamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan as a result of an unscheduled audit revealed environmental violations in two organizations. The audit found that the organization of the Menzelinskiy district did not compile a passport for waste of I-IV class hazard, which is a violation of the Law on Production and Consumption Wastes No. 89 of June 24, 1998. At the Chelny enterprise, the draft standards for maximum permissible emissions were not implemented and the object of negative environmental impact was not registered as prescribed on June 25, 2019.
