Topical issues related to the need to implement the principles of a circular economy, improve energy efficiency and environmental safety in waste management, were discussed today during the XV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A.I. Shchepovskikh “Industrial Ecology and Safety” at the section “Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Safety in Waste Management”.

Samples were taken at several points on the Volga, as well as at the mouth of the Kazanka. Values ​​verified online - pH, salinity, turbidity, oxygen, chlorophyll, blue-green algae - are in compliance with regulations. Samples for biogenic elements, heavy metals will be analyzed in the laboratory.

The Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Environmental Operator” and “Korib Metall” OOO will create conditions in the Republic of Tatarstan for handling waste from accumulator batteries of I and II hazard classes. The corresponding Agreement was concluded today within the framework of the section “Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Safety in Waste Management” of the XV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Industrial Ecology and Safety” named after A.I. Shchepovskikh.

Events within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum continue in the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”. In particular, today the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has organized the XV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A.I. Shchepovskikh “Industrial Ecology and Safety”.

A round table on topic “National Project “Ecology” is being held today within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum - 2020 with participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin. The event is also attended by Chairman of the Russian Ecological Society Rashid Ismailov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov, First Deputy General Director for Implementation of Environmental Projects at Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Ecological Operator” Maxim Korolkov, representatives of the scientific community and foreign companies.

The opening of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum took place today at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center. As part of the first day of the business program, a round table will be held on topic “National Project “Ecology”.

Violation of conditions for the extraction of common minerals was revealed by ecologists in the Almetyevskiy district, near the Chupayevo village. The video recorded on a quadrocopter by the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan indicates the premature start of mining operations. At the time of the environmentalists’ raid, the volume of removed sandstone was 21.6 cubic meters.
