Each outgoing year leaves behind completed projects, new collaborations and memorable moments. Summing up, we traditionally define new development prospects for ourselves and make plans for the future.

This year's final working meeting with the Presidium of the Council of Subsoil Users was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The results of the work done have been summed up and the work plan for the coming year has been approved.

Following the discussion, the participants of the meeting set the task of holding working meetings and seminars aimed at resolving issues of concern in the field of subsoil use.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a New Year's meeting with journalists. The press conference was chaired by Minister Aleksandr Shadrikov.

The facts of soil pollution with wastes of 3.4 classes of hazard (oil products), with its further export to other regions with subsequent reloading and transportation for placement and disposal in violation of the requirements of sanitary and epidemiological environmental legislation, have been established in a number of regions of the Russian Federation. In some cases, the waste disposal sites did not have a solid cover, shed, envelope, which resulted in soil pollution. Violations were committed when transporting waste without appropriate contracts, licenses, driver training. In addition, the total volumes of waste stored at the sites significantly exceeded the technical capabilities of organizations for their processing.

8,629 applications have been received by the Republican Public Ecological Reception since the beginning of the year.

3,964 of them - through the “School Eco-Patrol” mobile application.

Pupils of Arskiy Kindergarten No. 8 and members of the club formation “Invisible Guard” joined the campaign “We will make feeders - we will see that no harm comes to birds!” The children recited poems about migratory and wintering birds, solved riddles, worked on cards in groups. At the end of the holidays, the guys on their plots hung out feeders and laid out treats for the birds.

Dear participants of the republican competition “School Eco-patrol”! In order to prevent harm to your health, the Ministry made a decision to postpone the event for the next year.

The Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received a telephone message from the Kazan inter-district environmental prosecutor's office that two barrel baths are located on the territory of the Izumrudnoye lake. The inspectors made a trip to the specified area, violation of environmental legislation, namely: the unauthorized occupation of the water body was confirmed. In relation to an individual, a protocol was drawn up under Art. 7.6 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

The heads of territorial departments reported on the work done. Since the beginning of the year, state inspectors of the Ministry have identified 5,113 violations, eliminated 5,049 of them, which is 98%. Violators were fined in the total amount of 62.4 million rubles, environmental measures were taken for a total amount of 14.7 million rubles.
