The Minister for Ecology, Farid Abdulganiev, ordered to enhance the work on cleaning of territories of the Republic before winter

More than 93% landfills revealed in 2015 in Tatarstan have already been liquidated – the information of the State Inspection for Ecological Surveillance under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Ministry for Ecology, Farid Abdulganiev, ordered to enhance the work on bringing of the territories of the Republic into the satisfactory sanitary state before winter. The faults have been exposed in Chistopol, Aksubaevo, Alekseevskoe, Drozzhanoe, Tetyushi municipal units of Tatarstan.

Active work on cleaning of territories of Kazan was held last Saturday. Waste piles accumulated after demolition of buildings, i.e demolition wood, were found on 90 Tukaya str. The center of the city was cleaned by joint efforts of ecological specialists, fellow workers of the municipal Town Hall, volunteers, and proponents of the ecological movement “BUDETSHISTO”. The territory was also cleaned on 2 Parina str., where the citizens themselves caused waste accumulation. All in all, 6 KAMAZ trucks of waste were collected at two sites within 2 hours.

Such a campaign on the cleaning of territories from waste was also held in Naberezhnye Chelny. Fellow workers of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology together with fellow workers of the holding “Mechuborka Group”, administration of the Komsomolsk district of Avtograd, fellow workers of the health resort “Zhemchuzhina” and students of Naberezhnye Chelny higher educational establishments and secondary specialized educational establishments held the Saturday work campaign on the adjacent territory of the Kolokolny bridge in GES village.

More than 50 volunteers of the ecological activist movement “BUDETCHISTO” came to clean the territory. The movement “BUDETCHISTO” was organized this March under the auspices of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. During this time, more than 5 thousand citizens of Tatarstan joined the ranks of advocates, and more than 30 campaigns aimed at nature protection have been carried out so far.

       The events were aimed at improvement of the ecological state of the Republic of Tatarstan, formation of ecological mindset, and enhancement in the ecological culture of the population.
