The work on creating methods for modeling the movement of air masses in Nizhnekamsk was launched with support of leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will solve issues of environmental pollution in Nizhnekamsk together with leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Nizhnekamskneftekhim and TANECO have already expressed interest.

“We have begun work on creation of methods for modeling the movement of air masses to detect volley emissions that are not provided for by permitting documentation”, said Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov as part of the final collegium. He noted that thanks to the adoption of a unified sanitary protection zone for the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub, methods for assessing changes in atmospheric air quality at the planning stage of new production are of particular relevance. Summary calculations available for Kazan and Nizhnekamsk are also being developed for Elabuga.
