“It is a miracle that they did with our river”. Clearing and dredging activities of the left tributary of the Myosha river are completed
Over the years, 90 residential houses and 132 villagers were exposed to the threat of flooding; infrastructure, road, gas pipeline, power lines, and communications suffered. In order to resolve the issue by the municipality, design estimates were developed for channel rectification and river clearing. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan provided financing for the facility under the federal target program “Development of Water Sector of the Russian Federation in 2012–2020” and concluded a state contract.
The project, implemented for 2 years, is now at the final stage. Clearing and dredging of the channel has been carried out over a length of more than 2 km, landscaping of the coastal area continues, and stone has already been laid in five areas. The result of environmental work - prevented damage to 135.3 million rubles and the sincere joy and gratitude of the residents.
