Three violations on the territory of one facility
The inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan identified the unauthorized dump on the territory of Almetyevsk company. Waste of ferrous metals were placed on the plot with the area of 2000 sqm, some of them were discharged on the ground. This is not the only violation that was recorded by the inspectors during the raid. The territory of the enterprise is not equipped with a network of storm drains with auxiliary treatment facilities, which led to soil contamination by petroleum products. The square of contaminated area amounted to 86 sqm. The ecologists took samples of the soil on the site. The laboratory results showed the exceedance of petroleum products' content by 21.6 times. Due to this fact the ecologists brought the Almetyevsk enterprise to administrative responsibility under the following articles.
