6 December 2017, Wednesday

200 cleanups, 120 lessons about nature, 6 children's ECO-festivals, 3 shifts in tents in children's camps. Today the youth ecological movement of the Republic of Tatarstan Budetchisto summed up the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces. At the solemn event held in Kazan, 350 top movement activists from 43 districts and 2 cities of federal significance gathered. "These are the people who, by their example, show how to protect nature. They inspire the rest to solve environmental issues in their native republic. It's nice that the number of young people involved in this direction is increasing every year. Today, the environmental movement Budetchisto includes more than 7,000 young people, and these are only those registered on the official website," said Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, chairman of the Committee for Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy Tahir Khadeev stressed that the youth movement Budetchisto plays an important role in raising the ecological culture among the population. "Thanks to the activists, Tatarstan's thinking is changing, a careful and reasonable attitude to the environment is being formed," he said. The head of this movement Dilara Satikova said that the movement is actively developing in the republic and beyond. A vivid example is the opening in 2017 of the office Budetchisto in the Republic of Crimea. Dilara Satikova believes that young people are interested in solving environmental issues. According to her, this year activists of Budetchisto held more than 300 environmental events in Tatarstan. These are actions for the improvement of the territory and cleaning of reservoirs, planting trees and shrubs, thematic flash mobs, bike rides, lessons about nature, profile ecological changes of the tent type. For the first time this year, activists organized children's environmental holidays for children in Yelabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Zainsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan and Almetyevsk. The notes on environmental education and sanitary-ecological events in which the participants of the movement took part or independently held are recorded in the green mark book. "This is an innovation of this year, which allows us to evaluate the result of the work of activists at the end of the year, and also to involve as many young people as possible in environmental activities," Dilara Satikova said. Excellent performance in the environmental education activities on the results of this year showed 7 activists of the movement. Talia Zainatova, one of the leaders of the movement and the curator of the "Green Guard" team, entered this movement only this year, but has already participated and held 20 nature protection measures in her native Arsk. "I want my city to be always clean. It was this desire that led me to the movement Budetchisto," she said. Activists from Kazan, Zainsk, Buinsk, Chistopol and Menzelinsk also joined the Green Seven. In addition, the event awarded winners and winners of the "Online eco-quest" Green relay race ", the most active participants, mentors and teachers of the movement, winners of the competition among teachers. As noted by the participants of the movement, a lot of work was done in 2017, but next year new projects and ideas are planned to be implemented, as well as many environmental measures.
