The issues of underground water search and protection will be discussed on November 23-25, 2017 in Yessentuki

International Conference “Underground Waters – 2017” will be held on November 23-25, 2017 in Yessentuki. The event is organised by the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the International Association of Hydrogeologists, the Geological Center of St. Petersburg State University, the Eurasian Union of Subsoil Use Experts.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the government authorities of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use, the State Commission on Mineral Reserves, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the heads of large companies - subsoil users, scientific and scientific-production hydrogeological organizations, leading Russian geologists and foreign specialists.
Within the framework of the event the following issues will be discussed:
- Search and exploration of groundwater resources;
- Calculation of groundwater resources;
- Development and operation of groundwater resources;
- Underground structures;
- Hydrogeology of mineral deposits (solid minerals, hydrocarbon deposits);
- Protection of groundwater from pollution;
- Subsoil use and expertise of groundwater resources.
